In his colour photo cycle “D&S 1997-2000”, Walter Seidl thematises the everyday life of a gender-dissolving life model lived in practice. In the b/w series “DISclose 2001-2004”, he dispenses with various forms of staging in order to devote himself to the immediacy of the daily forms of action of the two protagonists. “D&S” and DISclose are projected opposite each other and amplified by a specially composed soundscape by the British musician John Parish.
