Aktuelle Fotografie aus Serbien

The exhibition brings together 10 contemporary positions from Belgrade’s current photo art scene, with a curatorial focus on the examination of social reality. Thus, the massive socio-political upheavals of recent years are questioned by means of different photographic approaches by 3 generations of artists.
The spectrum ranges from documentary photography to staged images, from serial wall applications to narrative film and video clips. What the works have in common is the search for a (last) remnant of identity and for a reorientation in a system of converging global structures.
