The exhibition at FOTOHOF brings together personalities of contemporary Polish art whose work is essentially committed to the medium of photography. Apart from Zofia Kulik, who has been counted among the avant-garde since the 1970s and represented Poland at the Venice Biennale in 1997, all the artists belong to the young and youngest generation. What they have in common is extensive exhibition activity and a positioning that is also relevant in an international context. The show at FOTOHOF also includes a transfer from the young Warsaw gallery “Raster.art”, which specialises in international contemporary art and presents itself and its artists in the form of a fair bunk.
