Katja Stuke, Oliver Sieber
Artist Books as Guests n° 7: Böhm Kobayashi
Katja Stuke and Oliver Sieber have been publishing their joint projects with BÖHMKOBAYASHI for 25 years. These include zines such as ANT!FOTO, book projects on the transformation of cities such as the new publication »La Ville Invisible« or the extensive work »The Japanese Lesson«, in which they deal with topics such as subculture and surveillance in connection with their travels to Japan. In their artistic practice, Stuke & Sieber cover a broad spectrum of identities: photographer, artist, curator as well as designer and publisher of artist books. With their work and mediation activities, both have long been world travelers in the field of photography, more on the road than at home in their Düsseldorf studio, and deal with the increasingly changing forms of images and modes of representation in the media.
As part of their workshop, they will work with participants in the FOTOHOF>LIBRARY to realize the copy machine project »Fax from the Library«, which will subsequently be on display as part of the exhibition.
