With the exhibition “Edith Tudor-Hart: Crossing Lines,” f³ – freiraum für fotografie is dedicating itself to the photographic work of Edith Tudor-Hart for the first time in Germany. The retrospective sheds light on the life and work of a photographer whose images made social realities visible – and whose biography is inextricably linked to the political upheavals of the 20th century.

Kurt Kaindl (FOTOHOF) will speak about the life of Edith Tudor-Hart. He will examine her role in social documentary photography and contextualize her work within the history of its reception.
