Katrin Froschauer und Valentin Backhaus präsentieren im Lecture Theater der Studienrichtung Visuelle Kommunikation den FOTOHOF. Sie werden uns auch Einblicke in ihre Arbeit und ihr Designstudio Studiofjeld geben.
Founded in 1981, FOTOHOF is the center for artistic photography in Salzburg. It is a gallery, library, and publishing house all in one. It houses one of the most extensive specialized libraries on photography in Austria, operates as an internationally active photobook publisher, and maintains an archive of historical and contemporary photography.

An established lecture series organized by the Department of Visual Communication at the University of Art and Design Linz, bringing together artists, designers, curators, and authors who create innovative connections between design, photography, art, performance, and research in their work. With a focus on interdisciplinary approaches and the intersection of various media and disciplines, the lectures offer fascinating insights into creative processes and foster dialogue that extends beyond the boundaries of traditional design.
