Most Beautiful Books of Austria / Arles Awards

We are delighted that two titles from FOTOHOF>EDITION have been named Most Beautiful Books of Austria of the Year 2025 in the category »Contemporary Art Volumes, Photographic Art, Architecture, Exhibition Catalogs«. Agnes Prammer and Johann Schoiswohl received this recognition for »Totes Gebirge« (FOTOHOF>EDITION Volume 374, ISBN 978-3-903334-74-8), a long-term artistic project that deals with dying and mourning and is designed as a combination of two independent photographic styles and a deliberate slowing down of the photographic imaging process. »213 Posters« (FOTOHOF>EDITION Volume 371, ISBN 978-3-903334-71-7) shows the high-profile artistic work of Julius Deutschbauer, which deals with questions of politics, language and the media in a satirical way in the form of posters.
