New Productions from a Photographic Estate Collection Using the Example of Manfred Willmann
A guided tour through the Fotohof Archive presents the various stages of collecting, archiving, digitization, documentation, and ultimately presentation in exhibitions and books. Curator Anna Aicher has worked extensively with the Graz-based photographic artist Manfred Willmann and will explain, using selected images, how she produced a new version of his early photographs.

Reuse in the Work of Michaela Moscouw: Strategy and Conservation Challenges
A guided tour through the Fotohof Archive presents the various stages of collecting, archiving, digitization, documentation, and ultimately presentation in exhibitions and books. Using the work of artist Michaela Moscouw as an example, curator Peter Schreiner will explain the processing and reuse of images through selected examples.
11.06.26, 6 pm: On the Preservation of Photographic Art
Collecting, Storing, and Restoring Photographic Works
A guided tour through the Fotohof Archive presents the various stages of collecting, archiving, digitization, documentation, and ultimately presentation in exhibitions and books. Photo conservator Maria Emberger and Kurt Kaindl provide insights into the proper handling of photography and presents examples from the archive. Participants are also invited to ask questions about their own handling of photographic works and may bring examples for discussion in a limited capacity. Proper storage of photographs and negatives is essential.
