Since 1980 Brohm’s work has been centered around the structures of urban development in general and has focussed on the residential, industrial and/or recreational suburban periphery in particular.
In 1992 Brohm began his photographic survey by observing the activities in a prior industrial area of approximately 11 hectares in North Munich. It was planned to repeat this annually and to complete the project in the new millennium.
