Fotohof’s 2003 calendar features photographic works by the artist Katrina Daschner.

Satirising pin-up aesthetics the artist appears in a variety of roles that include belly dancer, patisserie waitress, South Sea beauty and male macho. All the characters featured (with the exception of the collages for January and December) are played and staged by the artist herself. The title is mildly ironic given that all the couples inside the calendar are one and the same person. The performative, staged photographic works look not only at the issue of sexual desire but also at exploring potential identities between dream and fiction on the one hand and real social and cultural contexts on the other.
