Monat der Fotografie: Wien 2006

The idea of a “European Month of Photography” has been taking shape for the second time in Vienna in 2006, bringing together almost all cultural institutions of the city of Vienna with numerous exhibitions. In the catalogue 201 international and Austrian artists are introduced in 360 reproductions with accompanying texts. The focus is on the artistic aspects of photography in all its different manifestations, but also essential historical presentations as Pioneers of the Daguerreotype or American Photography from the 1950ies till today are pictured. A complete list of addresses and continuative data rounds the catalogue off.
