Shortly before his death Erich Hartmann put together photographs for an exhibition. These pictures were taken when he was not working, nevertheless, they are connected with his job. He focussed on personal topics like his family and on metaphors of travelling. There are also several works with laser, which he had constructed after his own plans and used for big landscapes. The emphasis of this book, however, lies on the numerous surrealistic photographs of everyday life.
