This unusual photo workshop combines a bike tour with the theme of landscape photography. The starting point is the FOTOHOF, the intermediate destination after 35 kilometers is the Bärenwirt in the Bluntau valley at noon. The tour is always interrupted at certain points for about 30 minutes to take photos. The mobility makes it possible to work at various locations on the always exciting subject of this photographic genre. Participants can practice photo-technical specialties such as long exposure or capturing movement; experience how natural light influences the image effect during the course of the day; we mix flash light and natural light. Of course, we will also look at how composition and framing influence the effect of the image.

In preparation for the BIKEFOTO-TOUR, each participant will receive a dossier with examples from the history of photographic art and how renowned photographers – from Ansel Adams to Thomas Ruff – have worked with landscape photography.
Please bring light camera equipment, a small tripod, a clip-on flash (if available) and a good bicycle or e-bike with panniers or rucksack.Participation is at your own risk, FOTOHOF is not liable for any accidents.Everyone should bring a few muesli bars and a water bottle.Small repairs can be carried out in the event of a defect. The idea is that we start the return journey in the afternoon after an extensive photo shoot in the Bluntau valley. If you are very tired, you have the option of taking the S-Bahn back from Golling or Kuchl. If the climatic conditions make a pleasant bike tour impossible, an alternative date of June 22 is planned.
