Workshop Info
Sharpening personal perception is at the centre of the FOTOHOF’s educational activities. By observing and analysing works of important photographic positions, formal and content-related strategies of image development, image composition, handling of light and technique are made conscious and put into practice. The central moment of all courses is the photographic practice of the participants under the guidance of artistic photographers. Guided tours and short workshops on artistic photography are offered for school classes. Individuals attend two-day basic and advanced courses as well as annual courses at the FOTOHOF.
The educational offer is expanded by seminars that deal with the technical aspects of the medium, such as the identification of historical photography and possibilities of conserving photographic materials. These courses are led by external specialists.
