Katrina Daschner’s artistic practice is characterised by performance, whether in the form of live performances or as an integral part of her photographic and video works, which often revolve around beauty, (sexual) threat and forms of locating oneself between fiction/projections and existing social architectures.
She incorporates accessories/elements of oriental and Mexican cultures (including music, belly dancing, masks) into her narratives in different ways.
