Tamas Dezsö - Everything begins to float

Everything begins to float

 20,00

As part of the INN SITU series, photographers focus on the Tyrol/Vorarlberg region.

The title refers to a character in Sartre’s novel who realizes that “everything begins to float” when it no longer sees themself as the center of the world. This moment marks a turning point in the history of philosophy—the dethronement of humans as the crown of creation.
Dezső focuses his gaze on the seemingly inconspicuous: forest floors in Tyrol and Vorarlberg, captured as color negatives that reveal the silent, organic network of moss, leaves, roots, and light. The reversal of colors challenges our habitual perception.
Dezső makes the invisible visible—not through representation, but through atmosphere—and creates a quiet plea for mindfulness and connection with the natural world.
