Bettina von Zwehl - Wunderkammer/Chamber of Curiosities

Wunderkammer/Chamber of Curiosities

 20,00

It was through her distinctive portrait works that Bettina von Zwehl achieved her international renown. WUNDERKAMMER is the first published overview of her exploration of the image. Inspired by the precursors of the European museum, namely the chambers of art and curiosities of the Renaissance, she presents a cross-section of her diverse photographic reflections on institutionalised representation. Bettina von Zwehl was born in Germany and studied at London’s Royal College of Art. Works by the artist are in the collections of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and the Rubell Family Collection in Miami, among others.

Bettina von Zwehl, *1971 in Munich, Germany. Lives and works in London.
