Basics of Digital Image Editing: Introduction to Affinity

Digital image editing opens up new ways to design and refine images. If you want to edit images professionally, you need more than just creative ideas—you also need the right tools.
In this introductory workshop on the basics of digital image editing with Affinity Photo, participants will learn how to use the program interface, work with layers, basic image editing techniques, and the use of tools for retouching and color correction. The course is aimed at beginners who are looking for a practical introduction to image editing.
Affinity is professional graphics and image editing software that has established itself as a powerful alternative to commercial programs. It has been available free of charge since October 2025 and offers comprehensive tools for photo editing and design.
