Winter Break Youth Workshop 2026

The workshop with educator and photographer Helena Kalleitner offers a comprehensive introduction to photography by providing basic knowledge, tools and creative strategies. Starting with a short journey through the history of photography to image composition, the (critical) viewing and interpretation of images will also be addressed. Through practical exercises with camera and smartphone, inspired by examples from art and pop culture as well as diverse methodological approaches, participants will be encouraged to develop a reflective and empowering approach to images.

Materials needed: Smartphone, compact camera or SLR camera, charging cable+transfer cable, snack
