The four large-format works (289 Polaroids each) “Tag- und Nachtgleiche März, Sommersonnenwende”, “Tag- und Nachtgleiche September” (“Equinox March, Summer Solstice”, “Equinox September and Winter Solstice”) – were made at the beginning of each season. The artist hung a blue-green painted surface on the north wall of her house and photographed it every 5 minutes from 0-24 o’clock. The seasonal changes in light and colour are made visible in this work.
