“The Ocean Within” by Yvette Monahan is an exploration of the marine ecosystem—how fish bodies function as archives of the oceans and what would happen if this living archive were to disappear. The series is presented as part of the exhibition “Project Groundswell—Visions for Climate Protection.” The exhibition and accompanying publications address the global challenge of climate catastrophe while highlighting solutions to multiple crises. Supported by Creative Europe, the project uses the expressive power of film and photography to present possible solutions to climate protection issues.
